Meet Dr. Jaghab

Christopher G Jaghab DDS

Dr. Christopher Jaghab is a general dentist who is an expert in helping people of all ages prevent dental problems for a lifetime of oral health.

His desire to practice prevention based dentistry came early in his career as he witnessed the frustration of patients who were disillusioned with their own failing dentistry at the hands of untreated disease.

Knowing a better approach, Dr. Jaghab sought continued learning throughout the country at world class institutions renowned for training dentists with the latest evidence based science. Having learned directly under the dental profession’s leading experts, Dr. Jaghab has the knowledge and abilities to diagnose and effectively treat the diseases of the oral cavity.

Forever remaining on the forefront, however, Dr. Jaghab continually furthers his education at cutting-edge dental institutes. He’s received advanced training in esthetic dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He also is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland Country Dental Society.

In keeping with his preventative philosophy, Dr. Jaghab has partnered up with his medical colleagues in sleep medicine to offer dental solutions for those patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Dr. Jaghab is a 2002 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. He received his undergraduate education from Wayne State University before being admitted to dental school one full academic year early. He was born and raised in Livonia and is a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Redford.

Dr. Jaghab’s hobbies are many. They include music, culinary arts, martial arts, photography, reading, history, and theater.  He’s been a guitar player for over 20 years. He carries a black belt in the ancient martial art of aikido.  In the year 2000, after completing the reserve police academy, Dr. Jaghab (still a dental student at the time) joined the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and has been a reserve deputy ever since. In 2001, after the 9/11 crisis, he was recognized by President George W. Bush for his proud service to our country in protecting the US/Canada border with United States Federal Agents.

He and his wife, Nicole, have been married for eight years and currently reside in Northville. They have two small children, Leila and Jack.
